Purpose Statement

The Family Law Sections Purpose Statement.

The Family Law Section provides information on legal and policy developments relating to children and families. Sponsors CLE programs on equitable distribution and an intensive seminar in family law in alternate years. The section, with more than 950 members, sponsors CLE programs and services; provides members with a substantive newsletter; and helps mold the association's legislative agenda for presentation to the N.C. General Assembly.
